• Yarns: Yarns are made of loose threads that are twisted together once, also known as single twist or single strand. This type of yarn is ideal for detailed work, like fringes or decorative knots, due to their soft and smooth texture.
• Ropes: These consist of three strands of threads twisted together, known as triple twist. Ropes are sturdier and great for projects that require more strength, such as durable hangers or large wall tapestries.
